You’ll learn how to shampoo, condition and treat the hair and scalp, plus cut hair using a range of techniques to create a variety of looks. You’ll also learn how to style and finish hair using methods such as blow-drying, hair-up and plaiting/braiding. Part Two also teaches you the principles of colour selection and enables you to complete a variety of colouring and lightening techniques, ranging from woven highlights to basic colour change. Enhance your skills further by choosing one of the following specialist areas: perming, extensions and hair relaxing treatments and techniques.

At the end of the Level 2 course, all apprentices must complete an independently verified end-point assessment (EPA).
