The secret? Years of training. “Education is a massive part of what we do,” says Neil. “With five salons, we need to keep everything consistent and make sure everyone is working to the same standards, so clients can go to each shop and get the same level of quality. Also, when we learn about new techniques and products, it keeps things fun.”

“When we are doing hair, we always tell clients about the products we’re using because for us, after-care is a massive part of the service,” continues Neil. “We’re a Kérastase salon so our staff are very educated on haircare. Healthy, beautiful hair starts at home, and there’s no point spending lots of money on your colour then using cheap products at home that will damage your hair.”
